Buddha Doodles Online Gift Shop Terms and Conditions

When you purchase a physical product from the gift shop, you are agreeing to the below terms and conditions:

Your account
To register for an account you must be at least 18 years old. You are in charge of the account.

You must in good faith provide the correct information when creating an account, and you promise to keep your information updated if it changes.

All of your order information is stored in your account. When you purchase a product, you are responsible for keeping track of your order information. This includes your order number, the tracking information, and your billing information. 

Accounts are created automatically at checkout. Do not create a new account.
There are no guest accounts.  

The artist, Molly Hahn, is not liable for delays in delivery time, import fees, or lost parcels.

Fulfillment Time
Fulfillment times (the time it takes for a staff member to take the product out of storage and put it in a package for mailing) are delayed due to COVID. Buddha Doodles has no control over how the time it takes for our business partner, Printful Warehouse, to fulfill an item. Buddha Doodles is not responsible or liable for the time it takes the warehouse to fulfill a physical product.

Carrier delivery times (USPS, FedEX, UPS, DHL, etc) are unique for each order based on location and are likely to be delayed due to complications with COVID. Buddha Doodles is not responsible or liable for delays in delivery time.

International Orders are expected to be delayed more than usual. Buddha Doodles is not responsible or liable for delays in delivery time for International orders.

International Delivery Options
International Flat rate shipping doesn’t include a tracking number after the item leaves the USA. If you would like to track the entire product, please choose a Priority Shipping that includes the ability to track. Flat rate shipping is the least expensive shipping option available for International orders and therefore doesn’t include the ability to trace the package the entire route.

Import Tax and VAT
Most International Orders require an import fee to be paid if you order items from Buddha Doodles. These fees depend on your country and region, so please check first with these regulations where you live. Buddha Doodles cannot provide an estimate of how much an import fee will be charged. We simply advise that you consider this when you make purchase. Buddha Doodles is not responsible or liable for import fees.

Most International Orders that require an import fee will be held at a postal facility in your town, city, or region. This varies depending on where you live and Buddha Doodles cannot tell you in advance which facility your order will be held at. Please check with your local authorities first before purchasing an item. Each facility has a unique way of notifying the customer of when a package is being held for import fee. This method depends on where you live and cannot be pre-determined by Buddha Doodles. In some cases, a parcel will be held without a notice being sent to the customer. Buddha Doodles is not responsible for how the facility in your town or city notifies or fails to notify you that a parcel you ordered has arrived. Therefore, by agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are accepting responsibility that you will check with your local authorities before purchasing an item from Buddha Doodles and that you consider ahead of time how you plan to keep in touch with the local facility in your town or city regarding the parcel you ordered.

As of July 1st 2023, new regulations went in to effect for the EU and VAT collection upon import. Though this law has changed, our items such as the Deck of Cards, Page-A-Day Calendar, and the Weekly Planner were already valued over 22€ prior to the law changing. VAT was already being charged for our products at the time of import prior to this law.

At this time we are not including, and have never included, VAT in the final charges on our website. We hope to find a way to do this in the near future.

Buddha Doodles cannot issue a refund for delays in delivery time or import fees.

Lost in Transit

For USA residents: If you suspect that your order is taking longer than usual, you must stay proactive in locating it. First, check with your neighbors. Second, check with your local post office. If you cannot find your parcel after doing that, If you cannot find your parcel after doing that, you will need to file a claim with Buddha Doodles within 20 days of the estimated arrival date (printed on receipt) to be considered for a refund or reshipment.  Each situation is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. For residents outside of the USA: If you suspect that your order is taking longer than usual, you must stay proactive in locating it. First, contact your local or regional post office yourself to see if you parcel is being held at customs. If at first you don’t find it, you must stay proactive and continue to contact your customs office after a few days or a week has passed since the last time. COVID is heavily impacting delivery services. Tracking information most of the time is not being updated online. Import tax notices are not being sent out most of the time. You must stay proactive in contacting your customs office even if you don’t get a notice. 

 

Attempted Delivery USA/International

If your parcel’s tracking information is showing that there was an attempted delivery, it is your responsibility to contact the carrier (usually UPS, DHL) and provide them with you shipment number, name and address, and your tracking number. If a delivery is missed, you must schedule it to be delivered again or travel to the delivery center to retrieve it. The artist is not responsible for a delivery services’ attempted delivery because the delivery service is a separate company. Just as with customs fees, when you purchase from the artist’s online gift shop, you are assuming responsibility for contacting the carrier to arrange a delivery time or pickup.

Tracking Information
You are responsible for tracking your own order. Every customer has an account with BuddhaDoodles.com. Accounts are automatically generated at checkout. There are no new accounts.

Your account provides you your order information. The artist is not responsible for finding your tracking number. If you cannot find it after logging in to your account, then you may email Dawn at customercare@buddhadoodles.shop

Invalid Address
If you or your end customer provide an address that is considered insufficient by the courier, the shipment will be returned to our facility. You will be liable for reshipment costs once we have confirmed an updated address with you (if and as applicable).

Contact Information
All inquiries about orders, complaints, or other topics related to the delivery of your parcel must be directed to lovingsupport@buddhadoodles.com and a qualified team member will answer your question within 1-2 business days. Do not contact the artist personally.

Claims
By purchasing this product you agree to above steps and procedures for making a claim for parcels Lost in Transit.

Return Policy
If an item arrives damaged, photographs of the damage parcel must be emailed support@buddhadoodles.com. We can then procede to file a claim and offer a refund or reshipment.

Refunds or exchanges for buyers remorse cannot be issued.

If you decide to return an item, the item must be shipped to the Returns Department posted on the packing slip. If the item is in mint condition and considered to be resellable, by our returns department, a refund can be issued only if these requirements are met. A $4.99 restocking fee must also be paid. This is non-negotiable.

Buddha Doodles Patron Terms and Conditions

To register for an account you must be at least 18 years old. You are in charge of the account.

You must in good faith provide the correct information when creating an account, and you promise to keep your information updated if it changes.

If at anytime you think your account has been compromised please contact us immediately.

Depending on the level of membership you have selected, you will be charged either a fixed amount per month or annually. You can cancel your membership anytime.

You will need an account to access your Buddha Doodles Patron’s Rewards. You will need to be logged in to your account to access your Patron’s Rewards.

When you create an account, a password will automatically be generated and sent to you. You can reset your password at any time. You are responsible for the safe keeping of your password.

There are two forms of subscriptions to Membership. One is a paid fee payable every month. The second is where you are charged per annum. You will be given your options at checkout.

The timing and sum of each subscription depends on the type of membership agreement you choose. You can see the details as you join, as well as in the receipt sent to you after each successful payment.

You may cancel your membership payments at any time.

Canceling your subscription or payment failure will result in the immediate loss of access to Premium content.

If you are located in the jurisdiction in which Buddha Doodles is required to charge and collect tax (e.g. VAT or, sales tax), then this tax is added to the total charge. Except in limited circumstances, this tax is shown when you set up the initial membership subscription. Buddha Doodles remits all tax collected to the applicable taxing authority. As tax is largely dependant on your location, you are responsible for keeping your address complete and up to date.

Depending on your location, some banks may charge you a foreign transaction fee for your membership subscription. Buddha Doodles does not control this charge, but it is typically around 3% . Please contact your bank for more information.

Refunds

If a membership payment goes through that you intended to cancel, we can refund you. If you need to cancel your annual membership, you will receive a refund for the amount left on your account. The number of months where you were an active member cannot be refunded.

These Terms and Conditions are non-negotiable. No exceptions are made.
