Our beloved teacher Thich Nhat Hahn, whose mindful focus and teachings changed how the world practices Buddhism, passed away Saturday morning. He was 95.

Though I didn’t get the chance to meet him in real life, Thich Nhat Hanh has been one of my primary teachers through reading his books since beginning the Buddha Doodles practice.

This week, I will be honoring him by posting doodles inspired by his writings. Some doodles will be from the very beginning and middle of this artistic journey, others more recent. His words continue to inspire me nearly every morning as I read and study his book, “The Heart of the Buddha’s Teaching.”

May he rest in peace and live on through his teachings.

Sending you all metta
Molly
